Literally born of a dream, Soulstice has been producing theatre and educating youth in theatre arts for ten years. Our journey has taken us from early shows in the Hide House (Bay View) to the Marian Center for Nonprofits to our new factory loft space in St. Francis. Soulstice maintains a full season of plays and musicals. We also offer STArS (Soulstice Theatre Arts School), a wonderful educational and performance program for area youth.
In the active Milwaukee theatrical community, Soulstice uniquely meets a need for accessible, quality theatre at an affordable price. We are also the only theatre company that gives a portion of our box office receipts to a charity that matches the meaning of the show. We believe in giving back to the community, and our donations are a central aspect of our core values. Since our inception in 2002, we have donated more than $3,000 to over 30 charities.
Soulstice has been recognized countless times in glowing reviews, news articles, and local TV shows. More importantly, we have maintained a network of loyal support in our artistic collaboration with actors, technicians, and production staff. In addition, our patrons consistently attend and praise our work and support us with their generous donations.
“The only bad part of STArS is having to go home.” –Maggie Roemer, age 12
“The best price for the highest quality theatre.” –Pat Briggs

“We discovered you this year and have gone to every show. We love it!” –C. Erickson
Our goals remain consistent. We want to continue to produce meaningful theatre at an affordable price. We expect our youth program to grow and flourish. We plan to emphasize our community support. We believe that process is crucial to a quality product, and we strive to maintain positive and productive relationships.
